Attest Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of Attest, a Chrome browser extension provided by Speedy Bloom Limited ("Speedy Bloom Studio", "we", "us"), a company registered in Hong Kong at 19 Bonham Road, Floor 11 Flat A, Hong Kong. You can reach us at [email protected]. These Terms apply to Attest specifically; our general Terms of Service govern this website and our other tools. By installing or using Attest, you agree to these Terms.
1. What Attest is
Attest helps you complete job applications. Its free tier is an accuracy-first autofill: it fills a form field only when the profile you maintain in your browser verifiably answers it, and flags every other field for you to complete yourself. Its paid tier, Attest Tailoring, adds a tailoring layer: written answers to a job's open-ended questions and cover letters, drafted from your profile and the job posting.
Fills and drafts are generated with the help of an AI service (our AI provider is Anthropic — see the Attest Privacy Policy), operating under strict grounding rules: content is drawn from your profile, and Attest is designed not to invent experience, skills, or facts. Voluntary EEO and demographic questions are answered only when your profile explicitly states the matching answer, and are never inferred from other information.
2. You review and submit — Attest never does
Attest fills fields on the application page in front of you. It never submits an application, never acts while you are away, and never sends anything to an employer or job board. Submitting is always your action, taken after your review.
3. Accuracy and your responsibility
Everything Attest fills or drafts comes from the profile you provide. You are responsible for keeping your profile truthful and current, and for reviewing every filled field and every draft before you submit it. AI-generated drafts can be imperfect even when grounded, so review is not optional. Answers you submit about matters such as work authorisation, visa status, citizenship, or salary are your representations to the employer, not ours. Attest is a drafting and filling aid; it is not legal, immigration, or career advice.
4. Plans, pricing, and fair use
Current pricing is always shown at speedybloomstudio.com/attest/pricing. The free tier includes up to 100 autofills per calendar month. This is a fair-use ceiling to prevent automated abuse, not a metered trial — it is set well above what an active job-seeker typically uses, and paying does not change what the autofill will or won't fill. The tailoring layer requires an active Attest Tailoring subscription. We may adjust the fair-use ceiling with notice on the pricing page.
5. Billing and cancellation
Attest Tailoring is a monthly subscription of US$12 per month, sold by Paddle.com Market Limited acting as merchant of record; your purchase is also subject to Paddle's checkout terms, and Paddle may add sales tax or VAT depending on your country. You can cancel at any time from the subscription-management link in your Paddle receipt or by emailing us. Cancellation takes effect from the end of your current billing period: the tailoring layer keeps working until then, and you will not be charged again after that. If a renewal payment fails or your subscription lapses, the tailoring layer stops but the free autofill continues to work. Refunds are handled by Paddle as merchant of record and covered by the Attest Refund Policy: you can request a refund of any charge within 14 days of the transaction.
6. Your data
Attest is built to hold as little as possible: your profile lives in your own browser, requests are processed transiently to generate fills and drafts, and our servers keep only plan status and usage counts keyed to a random device ID. The Attest Privacy Policy describes this precisely, including what is sent to our AI provider and when.
7. Licence and acceptable use
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use Attest for your own job applications for as long as these Terms and any applicable subscription are in effect. You agree not to resell or redistribute Attest, not to reverse-engineer it except to the extent that restriction is prohibited by law, not to use it in automated or bulk ways beyond its intended one-application-at-a-time use, and not to use it to violate any law or any job board's terms. Attest is built to refuse fabrication; you agree not to use it to misrepresent your identity or qualifications — submitting information you know to be false is a misuse of the tool and of these Terms.
8. Warranties and disclaimers
Attest is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Job application forms change constantly; we do not warrant that Attest will work on every form, that it will fill every answerable field, or that service will be uninterrupted or error-free. We do not warrant — and nothing in Attest should be read to suggest — any particular outcome from an application, including an interview, an offer, or a response. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any warranty or right that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you arising out of or relating to Attest or these Terms is limited to the amount you paid for Attest in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, or for loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those places, this section applies only to the extent permitted, and your statutory rights are unaffected.
10. Changes
We may update Attest and these Terms from time to time. When we make a material change to these Terms, we will update the "last updated" date above. Continued use of Attest after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, and the courts of Hong Kong have non-exclusive jurisdiction. This does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence.
